Catalog of the SPH&TS Archive at the Sherman Library

The catalog of the SPH&TS Archive at the Sherman Library was created prior to calendar year 2006. While the catalog provides basic information, some details are lacking. Currently, there is no plan to improve the catalog.

At the Sherman Library, the catalog is accessed through a database program on a computer. Upon accessing the database for a particular collection, a list appears.

The following example is for Circulars:

Field 1 provides the name of the item
Field 2 provides additional information
Field 3 provides a date for the item
Field 4 is the box in which the item is stored

Note: The lists are not consistent. Some have better descriptions than others and not all lists have 4 fields. However, the box number for an item is always on the far right. When requesting an item, the name and box number must be provided.
